Arc Reactor Mark One 1.0 - Iron Man

This was a fun piece to build. I know there are dozens of models out there already but I couldn't help but give it a go. I needed a desk lamp, I wanted a arc reactor so I thought two birds one stone. I used the static models created by TheMaker77 and Mhaschak as a starting point. Using this reference I started creating all the parts I thought I might need. The wrapped copper wire are actually the ground, there is a piece of copper wire running underneath the ground covers that is the positive. The led are soldered directly to the one wire and to each matched ground respectively. There is also a center light that is feeding the led ring power. Inside the bottom cover and controlled by a switch and a spindle is a small generator. Copper coil wrapped around a series of magnets that are connected to a lithium rechargeable battery. It might not create power on its own, but with a little help from you it can remain running and charged. I attached the whole assembly to lamp rod I made out of flex tubing. There is 12v running through the tubing to a magnet. The reactor also has a magnet on the bottom. When the two are connected the battery charges from that source instead. In the file I also added another light diffuse solution. It is made to fit a circuit playground from Adafruit. Get one here: https://www.adafruit.com/product/3000. There is a cover that I made to go over it and finish the enclosure. This thing was fun to make. I got a little carried away I will admit, but I was waiting on another print to finish... Jolly Making!
