Archery Arm Guard

Why pay $10 (or more) when you can just print one out? This is a simple arm guard for the archers in the Makerbot community. I decided to re-invent the wheel because I teach a class and the school does not have enough of these and is on a tight budget. Problem solved. Instructions Should be printed upright with the widest end down and the narrow end pointing up for the least waste and best resolution. It does need to be printed with rafts and supports and yes, there is a good amount of wasted plastic. I wanted this to be aesthetically pleasing as well as functional. the red one in the photo is printed at 10 infill, 3 shells and 0.20 layer height. Adjust the width of the arm band to match that of the archers bow arm. It works rather well. Just use thin rubber tubing, thin bungee cord or some kind of elastic band as straps. Enjoy.
