Archimedes Screw - Ancient Water Pump

The Archimedes Screw has been used for many centuries to pump water and as a water turbine to convert the energy from moving water into mechanical or electrical energy. This project was designed as a bath toy to pump water and teach mechanical principles. Print many of the modular pump tubes to lift water as high as needed. There is no leakage or back flow if you stop turning the pump, so driving it with a solar powered motor may be practical.
