Archimedes spiral trivet cnc/laser

This trivet design is based on an Archimedes Spiral. It shows the advantages of computerized over manual production. My build was done on a desktop cnc-machine by Stepcraft from 6 mm birch plywood using a spiral-toothed 1.2 mm flute. I used dark wood stain on one part to create the strong contrast.
