ArDrone 1.0 retrofit for RC

ArDrone 1.0 retrofit for RC

thingiverse

Finally got the quad-copter bug again. I started off looking for a quad-copter frame but love the clean ArDrone look. Since I had an old ArDrone 1.0 sitting around, I decided to OpenSCAD up some parts for a RC conversion. My goal was to keep from modifying the original ArDrone frame and foam parts as much as possible. I'm anticipating use of: AfroFlight Naze32 Full flight controller 4qty 2409-12 180W motors 4qty 25A ESC 3S 11.1v Lipo pack 8x6 or 9x4.7 prop (haven't decided) I'm just working on this project on spare time, so design & build will take some time. Will add more parts when I get them done. Instructions Used OpenSCAD for cad. Printed on my RichRep 3DR delta printer.
