Protect, mount, & aim your Arducam IR camera on your 3d printer! Designed for mounting to either 20x20 or 30x30 extrusion, but would work mounted to a flat plate, as well. This is specifically designed for [this camera](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0834XSLZM), so I am not sure if it will work with others. Printing: No special instructions here. Supports aren't necessary unless your printer gives you issues with overhangs. There are single-layer "caps" to the counterbored holes to allow for better printing - just shove a screw, screwdriver, or anything small & pointy through to clear it out before assembling. Assembly hardware: - 5x M3 nuts (4x for case, 1x for socket mount) - 4x M3 x 10-20mm socket head screws for case - 1x M3 x 12-16mm socket head screw for socket mount Mounting hardware: - 2x M3 t-slot nuts (whatever fits your frame) - 2x M3 x 10-12mm socket head screws Assembly instructions: - Insert 4x M3 nuts into back cover - Install ribbon cable to camera & insert ribbon cable through the back of the case - Place camera onto posts in back cover (the front cover will hold this in place) - Install the front cover over the camera & install screws - Use a small screwdriver to lift & separate the clamp portion of the socket mount to free the motion of the clamp on both sides - Choose mounting position for the camera & notice the direction of the clamp screw & nut - Install 1x M3 nut into the socket mount, away from the side where you will be able to reach with a screwdriver - Pop the ball portion of the front cover into the socket mount & adjust the aim of the camera - Install screw to secure (it is not required to fully tighten - only tighten enough to stop movement + an extra turn or two)
