Arduino Box

Arduino Box

thingiverse

Small box for carrying an Arduino plus a shield. The bottom of the box has a swivel piece to lock it in place. Nothing fancy but it did come out well and can be used as a starting point for other projects. Missing from the pictures are the standoffs for the Arduino. I'm going to use eight little circles with a hole in the middle and build up four little stands. Same technique as the bottom feet. Instructions The material is 3mm birch. An 8.5 x 11 inch piece should do fine. There are eight little squares which are used to build up feet for the bottom piece. When gluing the feet make sure to get the pieces square and flush or bottom will bind and make it hard to open and close. If that happens just file edges a little until to fits without binding. Use white glue for the seams since it sands easily. The box was finished off with two coats of Minwax clear stain.
