Arduino Case with Ethernet

thingiverse

If you want your Arduino to communicate with a slave device using an ethernet cable, this case is for you. I control a stepper motor and a servo (Pan-Tilt-Head) with my Arduino, while the Arduino may be several meters away from the Pan-Tilt-Head. I have used a 50 m CAT5e cable with zero errors. Changes made to the original thing: changed positions of the jack holes in the lid. Replaced the micro USB jack with a Type B USB jack (standard Arduino), moved the ethernet jack closer to the power jack. Doubled the thickness of the lid (1mm -> 2mm) to reduce bending when screwed on. Added a stopper to the inside of the case to prevent the ethernet jack being pushed in. The 3D files I uploaded have a little tweak where the power jack hole is 1 mm lower than shown on the photo. Use the 3DS file if you need to change anything. I can provide other formats on request.
