The design incorporates yellow geared DC motors and uses a 4xAA battery box for power, placed underneath. The Arduino and motor controller are positioned atop, with a 9-volt battery powering the former; meanwhile, the AA batteries provide 6 volts to operate the motors. A long plank snaps in at the top for holding eyes, which could be ultrasonic or infrared sensors. This project is yet to be built, and updates will be posted as needed. In the recent update, an STL file issue was fixed (version 2). After printing, some weaknesses were identified and rectified by revising the design for faster print times and increased strength (revision 3). Version 4 boasts a cleaner design that utilizes less plastic, with optional pads to prevent corner curling. Revision 5 separates the parts, resolves a wheel rubbing issue, and continues to improve upon this innovative creation.
