This support piece fits perfectly on one end of the stacked shields to prevent breaking pin connectors when using a touch screen with the LCD shield. It is held together by four zip ties, a testament to the 3D printing method used in its creation. When routing these ties through holes in the shields, use a tweezer for a secure fit and drill out horizontal holes with an 1/8" bit for a smooth finish. The access slot at one end allows for easy SD card insertion, although removal can be a challenge. To slide the card back out, you'll need to snip the zip ties in place - not ideal if you frequently remove the card. However, a Sketchup file is included, enabling you to customize this support piece as needed.
