A DIY project takes shape with the Arduino MKR1000 at its core, set to monitor temperature and humidity within a chicken coop. To get started, you'll need: 4 small screws to secure the Arduino itself 4 additional small screws to hold the plate firmly in place 4 sturdy screws for wall attachment Printer Settings: Using a Wanhao I3 printer Rafts: enable rafts for added stability Supports: use supports for complex geometries Resolution: set resolution to high for crisp details Infill: opt for 20% infill for a balance between weight and structural integrity Notes: The current design features don't quite align with the MKR1000's mounting holes, but this is easily rectifiable.
