So this isn't a re-mix of the cube itself; it's a base I designed that has holes for 4 round 6.9mm thread push button momentary switches like these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0752RMB7Q/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 There is also a slot for an arduino nano (it's a modified version of emccarron nano mounting base); you just set the nano in the channel, and then push it forward towards the usb hole so that the side near the usb hole is locked down. The front side of the arduino needs to be locked down with 2 blobs of hot glue (thee wasn't enough room for a channel to slide the entire nano in like in emccarron's design). Note the USB hole is oriented with the Nano facing down; this is so that the nano's power LED is facing down, and will not cast it's red glow up into the minecraft cube. The post in the center is just there to be a place to hot glue the LED to. For my arduino sketch, I'm simply using an RGB fader so that colors can be blended by pushing the Red, Green, & Blue buttons; it's similar to this sketch from this adafruit tutorial (and this sketch will indeed work): https://learn.adafruit.com/adafruit-arduino-lesson-3-rgb-leds The black button is a reset button to reset the arduino which turns the lights off. One side of the switch you run to the reset pin on the aduino, another to ground.
