I recently purchased and installed the ramps 1.4 kit on my Alunar M505 and wanted to share this design for anyone looking for a good mounting solution. The base will print with countersunk holes designed to hold M3 nuts to give a nice secure mount for the boards. I used M3 - 30 screws going through the holes in the ramps 1.4 and the stand-offs are just the right height for the screw to tighten flush with the bottom of the M3 nuts so that the whole base mounts flush with the side of the printer. The holes to secure the base to the printer are lined up to use the existing holes that secure the motherboard supplied with the Alunar M505. I'm assuming this would fit the Anet A8 as well.
