We decided to have a go at designing our own Arduino Uno R3 + GRBL CNC V3 Shield Electronics Case for our X-Carve remix project! We were keen to design an enclosure that would keep our electronics core safe, cool, and add a cultural touch to our growing FabLab. During concepting we came up with a flexible and modular design that would enable users to customize the design to fit their project needs or supplies on hand; without disrupting the core design principles. It's perfect for housing and protecting the Arduino Uno and GRBL V3 CNC shield electronics from heat, damage and debris. What's awesome is that the enclosure's design is flexible enough to contain most Arduino Uno and Leonardo shielded, bare or even bread board projects! COMPATIBILITY: Arduino Uno R3 + GRBL CNC / Engraving V3+ Shield Other Arduino Uno R3 projects (bare or shielded) Other Arduino Leonardo projects FEATURES: -Natural updraft thermal core design -Fan assisted to enhance cooling: 40x40x10mm and 40x40x20mm fan sections -Modular design allows for user customization -Mini Zip-Tie Module connections -Mini Zip-Tie Arduno Uno R3 attachments -Lower port for USB and power cables -Side port in GRBLbody2 to enable lower fan use. -Large side port for wire management to steppers, endstops, spindle, etc. -Upper wire management for fan wiring and or LED integration -Upper and lower fan guards to protect your fingers and fan from debris **Planning and Printing Your Thermische Welle** We came up with a few combinations to get you started!
