Arkham Horror Card Game (LCG) Box Inserts

This is a set of box inserts for the Arkham Horror Card Game (LCG) by Fantasy Flight Games. These inserts are designed to hold two core sets of sleeved cards after you have removed duplicate scenario cards that are not needed. The photo shows two core sets (after removing the unecessary scenario cards) and should leave space for a couple of expansions too. It also fits all tokens from both sets in the central container. The main pieces come in two versions - one that is 46mm tall, which doesn't leave space for the rule books and scenario book, or oen that is 42mm tall, which leaves just about enough space for the rule book and scenario book from both of the core sets. Both versions have been designed to fit sleeved cards. You can optionally print a lid for the central container to ensure that the tokens stay in place when moving the box around. Also available are "lids" for the card stacks to hold them in place better when transporting the game and dividers for the decks so that you can separate the different characters and scenario decks and make it easy to pull out just the cards you need. ## **Author** These models were created using OpenSCAD by [John Wordsworth (johnwordsworth.com)](www.johnwordsworth.com) as a way of learning OpenSCAD. The designs were based loosely on other designs I saw on Thingiverse (thanks [Brahm](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1906534), [Pu1p](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2513527), [Elizzyble](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3613229) and anyone else who inspired the design). ## **Components** You should print... 6x Card Holder 1x Central Containers (Pair) 2x End Piece The folder/files marked "with_books" are 42mm high and leave space for the books. The folder/files marked "no_books" are 46mm high and designed to cram extra cards in the box at expense of having the rule books in there. ## **Optional Components...** Card Dividers: Print as many dividers as you would like to separate scenario / character decks. Card Lid: Print these to hold the cards in place if you travel a lot with your box. Central Container Lid: A lid to fit over the central container and help keep the tokens in place. ## **Notes** I printed these inserts with 15% infill, 0.2mm layer height and a brim using Generic PLA that I purchased in Clas Ohlson. All prints came out fine and there are no need for supports or rafts. A single set of the core components use approximately 200g of PLA and, in total, require about 22 hours of print time at "0.2mm Quality" print settings in PrusaSlicer. A set of optional components use approximately 50g of PLA and take around 10 hours to print in total.
