Tried different gopro mounts around the internet and they were always an enclosed version that would always be too tight of a fit or scratch up my gopro more than the crashes, This is designed so you slide the Armattan Top Plate into the slot and screw it back into the frame and then uses the regular Gopro Screw/Nut mounting system which lets you adjust the angle. Obviously since this isnt enclosed its not going to provide any extra protection, Gopro's were made to be put in the action even the newest Hero 8 has the bare camera with the mounting points, dont baby your camera. Let it rip
