Armband Volt-meter

Armband Volt-meter

Just a 1 hour quickie design that needs some work. I love my big waterproof, do-everything meter, but sometimes you just want DC volts and don't have 3 hands. Tip - get your slicer to generate support structures! You will need a standard off-the-shelf self-powered volt-meter. Probably with a few less hyphens than I have used. simple procedure, attach a couple of clip leads - red to Pwr+ (bridges to sense) and black to Pwr- Different styles may vary. You will also need a bit of webbing strap and a clip - there are several printable versions available on thingiverse, I'll post a link when I find one. Suitable meters can be sourced from Jaycar, Ebay, or here:http://www.aliexpress.com/snapshot/6453063933.html?orderId=65476459251995 The Chinese ones need the "legs" snipping off with a pair of flush cutters, but come in a sexy green colour that isn't as harsh on they eyes when you are stuck in a cable gantry in the roof of some industrial facility - which was the initial inspiration for this design.
