Arrma Granite Front A-Arms 4x4 3S BLX

These are replacement front suspension A-Arms for the Arrma Granite 4x4 3S BLX. They may also work with other Granite models but I have not verified that. Also included is a beefier version that fills in the inner triangular holes to strengthen the part for 3D printing. After a week of owning my Arrma Granite 4x4 3S BLX I decided to take it to the local skatepark. It held up well for about 15 minutes of heavy abuse, but alas, my front right A-Arm could hold on no more. I immediately ordered a replacement set from Amazon, but did not want to wait a full week for them to arrive to get back out and bash. I printed one of the original style out of PLA and it held up fine for a small test session and a few cartwheels in my front yard/driveway. However, it broke when I did a drop test from a few feet high directly on the A-Arm - a rather harsh test. I then printed the solid version out of Polycarbonate-ABS... I've only used it for a few bash sessions so far but it has held up quite well to a number of hard tumbles, landings, and cartwheels. For best strength, I'd recommend printing these standing up on the long edge with the strut mounting hole side facing upwards. This will require support and should be printed at 100% infill. You will likely need to drill out the holes slightly after printing so that the pins slide nicely into the arm. Hopefully this helps someone else get back up and running, even if only temporarily while they wait for replacements to arrive in the mail.
