Arrma Kraton 1/8 Wheelie Bar for TPU Wing Mount

After breaking my stock wing mounts on the third run with the truck, I printed ipnd's TPU wing mount and it is fantastic. I also printed the roof and nose skids from robschii and saw that he also designed a wheelie bar. I decided to modify the wheelie bar to fit using the TPU wing mount. Essentially this new wheelie bar just replaces the "Kraton-Wing-Mount" piece in ipnd's design. Purchase Parts needed (does not include wing mount itself, see below): (4) 8 ID x 19 OD x 6mm Width bearings (698-2RS) -OR- (4) 8 x 22 x 7mm bearings (608-2RS), common skateboard truck size) (2) M3 bolts, 8-14mm length (4) M3 Brass inserts Use 19m ID wheel for 698 bearings or 22mm ID wheel for 608 bearings, may need to play with scaling depending on how hard your TPU is. Print the wheelie bar in PLA or PETG and print the wheels in TPU. ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS (TPU wing mount already installed): 1. Insert brass inserts into wheelie bar using a soldering iron. 2. Sandwich the wheelie bar with the logos facing up between the TPU wing mount arms and insert m3 bolts. 3. insert the two bearings into each wheel and add a couple dabs of superglue between the bearing and inside of the wheel to keep them in place. Do not get glue on the sides of the bearing. 4. Slip a "wheelie bar spacer" over the wheelie bar after the wheel and bearings are on the wheelie bar. This will stop any excessive side to side motion of the wheels and bearings. 5. Install the 8-14mm M3 bolts with a "wheelie bar washer", 6. Reinstall the original wing. All parts should be oriented as I recommend printing them by default. Use supports for wing mount and wheelie bar in these orientations. Don't forget to post your makes!
