(Update: Most folks are now downloading my "Heavier Duty" **Pipe and Antenna Connectors** that have Bolt/Shackle retention built in... They're found Here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4917261 The site is acting up... again... so several of my recent designs aren't showing up on our Dashboard or Analytics Pages... so the new and Updated stuff can be hard to find) I have several "WALL-Mounted Articulated Arm Monitor Mounts" in my Office, but each Wall Mount Unit only has room for one Monitor Mounting Arm on it. I recently upgraded to much larger "curved screen monitors" and I needed to make an array out of them... However, I COULD NOT find a **WALL** Mounted Monitor Mount that would hold 2-3 monitors, all I could find that would accept 2-3 Articulated Mounting Arms were the "Vice-Clamp **DESK** Mount" type... My wife bought me several of those, which came with standard sized 42.5 OD, 18 Inch Long, Poles. The trouble was that I don't have anything to mount a "Desk Mounted Monitor Stand" to in the right areas where I need monitors. So I needed to connect the 18 Inch long Poles that handle "Multi-Articulated-Mounting Arms", to a 45mm Tall Wall-Mounted "Single Arm" Stub. I now had: 1) Several Wall-Mounted Single Arm Monitor Mounts with a small (45mm tall) "42.5 OD Round Mounting stub" that will only hold one Articulated Monitor Mounting arm. 2) I had several 18-Inch tall, 42.5mm OD, "Desk-Mounted Monitor-Mount Poles", but there is just no way to connect the Longer Poles to the Shorter stubs, short of firing up my welder :-/ I opened 3D Builder and made the Articulated Monitor Mount Adapter. The Adapter runs from the 42.5mm OD Short-Stubs, to the much-longer 18-Inch Tall, 42.5mm OD, Multiple Monitor Mount Poles. Actually, these work for connecting **ANY** two pipes together, just scale them to fit whatever size pipes you're trying to hold together. The adapters should fit your pipes very snugly, and the U-Bolts should fit like over the adapters like the adapters were made for the purpose ('cuz they were ;) If you try to use U-Bolts alone to connect a round pole to the original round stubs, it's a wobbly mess, and a major PITA... But with the Monitor Adapters in place, the Longer "Multiple Mounting Arm Units" mount VERY well to a short "Stub" mount. You'll need a couple of U-Bolts from the Hardware store... Sized 5/16ths Inch x 1-3/4ths Inch x 4-3/16th Inch, as shown in the pictures. My Monitor Mounting Adapters, **printed at 100% infill**, "Square Off" the dead space between/around two round poles, allowing you to mount two poles together ROCK SOLID! As long as you use good U-Bolts, and these Adapters printed at 100% Infill, these Adapters can't budge! I've been using them to mount two Articulated Monitor Arms to each Wall-Mounted "One Pole" Monitor stand. My Monitors are Curved-Screen 27-Inch Monitors, and they haven't moved AT ALL, even with 3 monitors mounted to the new poles.
