Articulating LED Strip Lamp

Articulating LED Strip Lamp

thingiverse

Remixed from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2505394 I needed an LED desk lamp for my workbench, and I really liked the design of the arm and mounts from the original lamp. I sketched up a lamp holder that would work with LED strip lights, and then created a housing for the on/off switch and DC barrel jack. The switch housing is printed as 1 piece, without supports. It is possible to get the nut for the DC jack on, but it must go on over the wiring before they are soldered to the jack. It might be possible to print the housing in 2 pieces with a slight redesign, but I found it worked well for my needs as 1 piece. Parts Used: 1x On/Off rocker switch 1x Panel Mount Female DC Barrel Jack 2.1mm x 5.5mm Connection Wire 3x LED Strips (10mm x 100mm). I used RGB strips, because that's what I had laying around. Regular single colour LED strips can be used as well. 1x 12v 5a power supply *Edit 2020-11-03* Added the missing Knob STL
