Artillery Sidewinder X1 ac bed heater strain relief and cable chain

thingiverse

Use this for taking the strain off the AC bed heater cabling that is on the Evnovo/Artillery Sidewinder X1 3d printer. Unlike some designs, this one does not create a lever/crowbar between the levelling knob and the carriage that may cause layer shifts in your prints. It mounts to the Y carriage arm directly and does not touch the bolt, spring or knob at all. This can be used with or without cable chain and since cable ties are done up from underneath you can always add the cable chain at a later date if you wish. The cable chain can help keep the cable off the sharp metal edges of the cut alu extrusion. The bed arm is supplied in two versions for you to choose which suits your slicer and material the best. BedArmFlatPrint = Designed to print with no supports and allows for sagging/drooping to occur under the bridged areas as extra clearance has been allowed for in the design. The sagging creates a springy top that helps to hold the arm in place so by using supports you will slightly change the resulting part. BedArmVerticalPrint = Designed to import and print standing upright for use with supports. If using PETG or a filament that does not bridge nicely then this version has the previously mentioned extra clearance reduced. No reason why you can not lay this one down flat and use supports if you wish.
