Artillery Sidewinder X1 - Ikea RÄCKA Curtain Rods Gantry Support Brace

Many SWX1 users had trouble locating threaded rods at the right length or lack the ability to cut them, so i made this support brace that use two 70cm curtain rods from ikea: https://www.ikea.com/gb/en/p/raecka-curtain-rod-black-00217165/ You will also need 4 screws M5x40mm, 2 screws M6x30mm, 2 M6 nuts, 4 M5 nuts and 4 screws M5x10mm, you can order from here: https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_9idhf8 1. install the bottom brackets by re-using the M5 screws already on the machine, the "bottom-right" bracket goes to where the power switch is located: <img src="https://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=1jyjKY36wcn5-rDUStg0O2YqMhV4jVlFS" width="640"></img> 2. insert an M6 nut in the NUT-Plug. <img src="https://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=1pCNBVqyebU4XJJXFpRj6u6J7YFtpQd5m" width="640"></img> 3. insert the curtain rods to the bottom brackets and the NUT-Plug to the top side of the rod. <img src="https://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=10d6f_qS6RShwUAkI7tmCYGcr9h9GbBW3" width="640"></img> 4. you may need to lower the timing belt by releasing the 2 grub screws on the gear. remove the 4 M5 screws that hold the top aluminium bracket on the machine, the 2 screw that hold the bearing can be reused, the 2 screws that goes into the extrusion will have to be replaced by M5x10mm screws. locate the top bracket on the aluminium bracket while inserting the curtain rod and tighten down the screws. <img src="https://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=16pPR0Oru-U4-7TO9KhwYnIatO_tHLgiy" width="640"></img> 5. insert an M6x30mm screw to the nut, this screw is for adjustment, if you have a problem with your gantry not being 90 degree to the base you can use this screw to pull or push the gantry, i use a digital level to check for the angle of the gantry. <img src="https://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=1rrbAqaQatgGrl7AU-Xw8FlWCXo1Bti2X" width="640"></img> 6.
