Possibly Roycroft as I have owed it for 40+ years and bought it in a suburb of Buffalo N.Y. It is activated by closing the legs and lowering the leaves. when the leaves are raised the legs spring open driven by hidden springs around the knobbed axels within the center stretcher holes. The spring extensions are hidden in a saw kerf along side the axel. Truly a great idea for turn of the century work.
