As the fan on the X570m Pro4 tends to be quite noisy and possibly die after a few month i thought about a way to replace the fan with a better quality one, as the chipset heatsink isnt exactly bulky and not really capable of cooling the chipset entirely passively, depending on the setup. I designed the bracket to be either used with a noiseblocker XM1/2 or a noctua A4x10. You should be able to use the fan bracket with any regular GPU, so there should not be any issues with large GPUs that cover the entire Chipset heatsink. Just to be safe i would suggest using an anti-sag bracket for the GPU to make sure there is allways enough room between the fan and the GPU heatsink/fan shroud. The original screws are used to secure the bracket to the chipset heatsink. You will need to cut out the fan hub from the frame but be careful not to damage the fan bearings while doing so. Then glue the fan hub into the fan bracket and screw it back in place using the three original fan screws. Depending on how you want to connect the fan to the motherboard you can either use a free regular fan connector, use an adapter to connect the fan to the original southbridge fan connector or use any other way of powering the fan. Also you will need to remove the fan grill covering the intake area, which is just glued to the m.2 cooler plate. Since it does nothing more than blocking airflow it is not a big loss anyways. Using a Noctua A4x10 should be the best performing an quietest solution while the noiseblocker is cheaper and still reasonably silent around 2k rpm. Pictures were made using the first version of the fan bracket, the second version should move fan to a more central position. Will update the pictures once i get the second version printed. Until then this ist still a WIP.
