Par Toutatis, a full Astérix the Gaul (Astérix le Gaulois)Costume. Loved the comics and cartoons when I was younger, I wished I had a bit of that magic potion :) Also saw the movies, probably some of the most known french spoken ones and were quite entertaining and whimsical.    This a full Astérix costume, ok almost full, you need to supply your own clothes, a black t-shirt and red pants.  The design contains the belt decorations, the magic potion canteen, helmet, sword, sword sheath and last but not least the mustache. The visual appearance of this design is based on the comics and cartoons, with a nod to the movies on the belt and sheat decoration.    All parts printed with PLA at 210ºc and besides some light sanding and super-glue all the colors are the plastic originals. All pieces fit the standard 200x200mm beds.    Belt - Print Belt_decor_center.stl, Belt_decor_side_1.stl and Belt_decor_side_2.stl, I used 0.2 layers with a 15% infill. To attach the decoration I used double sided tape.    Canteen - Print Canteen_part_1.stl, Canteen_part_2.stl and Cork.stl. I used, 0.2 layers, 20% infill. Glue part 1 and 2 to each other with a bit of super-glue. The cork will probably be a bit loose so you can replace it with a real one.    Helmet - Print Helmet_part_1.stl through Helmet_part_4.stl and attach them to each other with super-glue, use masking tape to ensure that all pieces are aligned. Parts 1 and 2 require supports, but 3 and 4 should be printable without them, but this depends on your printer. Print the Helmet_wing_1.stl and Helmet_wing_2.stl, if you want a more 3D look to the helmet, print two of each and glue them to each other. The Helmet_pin_X.stl serve to attach the wings to the helmet, if you printed 4 wings and joined them then use the alternative pin cap to attach the wings to the helmet. After the wings are secured to the helmet with a bit of super-glue glue the caps on top. All parts printed at 0.2 layers with 2 outer layers for the helmet and 3 for the remaining parts.    Sword - Print one of each Blade_side_X_part_X.stl and glue each part to their mirror. Glue both handle parts, I used masking tape to ensure proper alignment. Glue 2 pins to the guard, one to the pommel, while these are drying attach use the remaining pin to attach the 2 pieces of the blade to each other. Glue the blade and the pommel to the guard and finally the pommel to the guard. All parts were printed at 0.2 layers with 20% infill and 3 outer layers.    Sword sheath - Print one of each Sheath_side_X_part_X.stl. Using masking tape to stop the parts from moving while the glue is settings glue both parts 1 to each other and repeat the process with parts 2. Using 2 Sheath_internal_support_X.stl attach both sheath pices to each other. Glue the remaing 2 internal supports to the Sheath_tip.stl, and attach it to the sheath. Glue the assembly to the Sheath_guard_clip.stl. Glue the Sheath_binding_side_1 and Sheath_binding_side_2 to both sides of the completed sheat. Finally glue the Sheath_decor.stl to the seath. All pieces printed at 0.2 layers with 20% infill and 3 outer layers.    Mustache - No much to do, simply print it at 0.2 layers, and 15% infill, 2 outer layers and 3 solid top/bottom layers.
