ASUS RT-N65U Wall Mount

ASUS RT-N65U Wall Mount

The Asus RT-N65U router is meant for the desktop, so it doesn't have any suitable way to mount to a wall, especially with its particular shape. After redoing my network panel, I designed these end clamps/cages that fit the angle perfectly and hold it securely to the wall, without blocking any ports. The picture shown is from the first iteration and while it works perfectly, I felt it could be a little more sturdy, so I added some honeycomb to the ends and made the mounting points a little bigger. I used #6 wood screws. I will be re-printing the new model soon, but these should work just fine, as the overall shape is exactly the same. Designed to be printed flat on the bed, so may need to be rotated, depending on your slicer. EDIT: I printed the updated version and realized the honeycomb sides were a tad flimsy for my taste, so I increased their thickness. I also allowed for a small cutout in the honeycomb on the right cage, to accommodate the power cable. Should be golden now.
