The ASUS TUF FX504 series (and some similar ones) from a couple of years ago have a design problem that essentially causes their hinges to crack after around 1 year. This is a reinforcement clip that you can easily mount onto the PC and use as a reinforcement. It covers 2 functions: 1. It does hold your screen and keyboard together. 2. It gives you a holding point for you to properly open the laptop as close to the hinge as possible, preventing further strain on it, while making it somewhat ergonomic. Sadly, it does cover the barrel plug... Which on the other hand is a plus for me, as it prevents me from leaving the laptop plugged in 24/7, but your mileage there may vary. The model is twice as long as the printed pictures show, because this was the first item I made with my printer and the part had some layers shifting halfway through the process but it ended up being perfectly fine like that. You could print it as is, giving you better leverage on the hinges but I've ended up liking the 50% length ones, as they are more compact.
