1. What issues did you overcome? I overcame the issues of learning how to 3D print and how to fit the measurements of the pegs while accounting for the inflation of the 3D-printed filament. I also overcame the issue of waiting to use our shared 3D printer. 2. If you could redesign this again what would you change? If I could redesign this, I would inscribe the names of the four core subjects and "Elective" onto the blocks instead of just color-coordinating the blocks and pegs to represent the subject of their choice. Also, I would maybe add another section for a weekly calendar about when certain deadlines are. 3. How would 3D printing help strengthen your design? 3D printing helped my design with seeing how the pegs fit and how the blocks interconnect. Also, it was a simple way to capture my idea of keeping young students organize in an entertaining way.
