This upgrade greatly improves the strength of the arm/frame coupling, preserving the frame in a crash. When you crash hitting an arm it's easy to tear the nylon standoff thread, causing the bending of the battery or bottom decks and consequent damages. The aluminum standoff provide efficient mechanical seal in case of impact, where the weak point will be reduced only to the arm. Is mandatory that you use a central stock M3x8 nylon hex standoff. The holder accepts two M3x8 hex alu standoff for 5mm wrench. Search the item 24432K-ND on Digi-Key. In addition, the holder allows to fix in a very convenient location any KISS factory form ESC, such as the DYS SN20A. You can use or not the ESC cover.
