Athlete - 17th century Roman replica from an original from 440-420 BCE, Rome, Marble. This impressive piece of sculpture is probably the inverted copy (left - right) of a work from the Ludovisi collection, copied in order to decorate the park in which the antiques were originally placed only in the 17th century.
