Atlas Lathe Pin Keeper

Atlas Lathe Pin Keeper

thingiverse

Atlas lathes use a circular dovetail mounting system for attachments to the cross slide, such as the compound and milling attachments. There's a couple of pins that bear against the circular mount to lock it in place that tend to fall out when the part is changed or stored. This is a rough approximation of the mounting part that can be used to plug the hole to keep out foreign material and to keep the pins in place during storage. Note: this part was designed to fit my Atlas QC54 10" lathe. See more (around the 4:50 mark) at : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0XJL3m5mD6U&t=385s
