Atlas lathe spindle lock

This is a tool that fits on the bull gear of a Craftsman/Atlas lathe to assist with removal of the chuck. I measured and modeled this to fit my Craftsman/Atlas 12" lathe. It may fit other Atlas lathes. I've included the stl file of what I printed. I printed with 15% infill, and it worked fine for me because my chuck wasn't super stuck. I'd recommend more infill if you have a seized chuck. EDIT: The Youtube channel the_eddies printed the original design, but his chuck was super tight and it showed some design flaws in my original design. See video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ijkSDJEicZA) I've edited my design and posted v2, but have not printed or tested it. #V2 changes * added engagement for more teeth as this will wrap around the bull gear a bit more and may prevent the tool from trying to pull off the bull gear if you have a really tight chuck. * increased the length of the 'stop' to provide more rigidity to the top of the tool. * corrected angle of the bottom of the 'stop' so it won't try to ramp off the headstock casting.
