Atlas Lathe Tachometer Mount

I designed this tachometer screen mount to attach a hall effect tachometer to an Atlas lathe in place of the factory switch location. I feel like most of us retrofit something like a drum switch or VFD, and this was a good spot for a tach. Here's an Amazon link for the type of hall effect meter I used, find the cheapest supplier: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PT7QPXM/ Use 2 4-40 screws or whatever thread is present on your lathe, I used one of the originals and a newer phillips flat-head screw. For a power supply, you'll have to figure something out, but I just cut up a generic 12V 1A supply. I've circled where I mounted the magnet, and I drilled a corresponding hole in the back gear guard. Use the hole in the mount to feed your wiring through the interior.
