Handle for the rope hanging from my folding attic pull down ladder. I've got great big hands, so i scaled it accordingly. My fist width is about 90mm, so I rounded up to 100mm for comfort. The print grain opposes the direction of pull, so it's got some added strength. I printed at 10%, and it's working just fine. I've chamfered any edges that contact the rope, so you should be able to get several decades or use out of this. The rope holes are 5mm, so if you've got a big fat rope, you may need an intermediate string.

Print Settings

Printer Brand:

Prusa

Printer:

Prusa Clone

Rafts:

Doesn't Matter

Supports:

Doesn't Matter

Resolution:

.3

Infill:

10%

Filament:
Hictop PLA Orange

Notes:

I printed at .3mm, and as fast as I possibly could. .2 with a moderate print speed would probably yield much better results, but I use this about 10 times per year, and I just wanted it done fast.

Category: Household
