ATX Bench Power Supply

ATX Bench Power Supply

A simple case to use your old ATX PSU as a Bench Power Supply. I chose to have 1 adjustable output and 2 fixed outputs on 5v and 3.3v. My ATX PSU won't be usable in a PC case any longer as I cut off the plugs and shortened the wires to tidy it up a bit. I'm not sure if there's enough room in the enclosure to keep the original wire loom as-is. I might add an extended casing to accomodate for this later. Parts list: • 1x ZK-5KX Dc Dc Buck Boost Converter - https://a.aliexpress.com/_EHbZzEX • 2x DC0-100V 10A Digital Voltmeter - https://a.aliexpress.com/_EvDrz3Z • 3x Banana plug socket - https://a.aliexpress.com/_EuBgosn The front mounts to the back case with m3 bolts. I've used lever nuts to connect the front devices to the ATX PSU to be able to quickly replace the front in case of updates. TODO: • ~~Add .stl files for preview on Thingiverse~~ • Add holes for fuse holders • Include version for smaller toggle switch • Include a version of the back case with an open side for PSU's with a side fan
