ATX Breakout Board Mount

<p>Your typical 24pin ATX power supply connector can provide many useful voltage levels to your other electronics projects.... ya got 3.3V, 5V, 12V and even -5V (has anyone ever used that one?)... anyways, it's great.</p> <p>So, to leverage this handy connector, I bought a breakout board from ebay and found that all the through-hole solder pins on the bottom of this PCB were dangerously exposed to whatever highly conductive surface I'd care to callously toss it on. That won't do, so I made this nifty standoff (with 2.8mm holes that allow you to use the same screws as you'd find on a drive tray for mounting) and even added some tapered holes for wall/chassis/robot mounting.</p> <p>Dimensions of the mount holes, centers to centers are:</p> <p>69.5mm x 33mm</p> <p>If you found this useful, it would bring me great joy to see your work - so be sure to share. :)</p> <p>Also, feel free to peruse my other submissions which are almost as varied as they are many:</p> <p><a href="/3E8/designs">http://www.thingiverse.com/3E8/designs</a></p> <p>Enjoy!</p> Category: Electronics
