Audeze Mobius Earcup Swivel

Audeze Mobius Earcup Swivel

I have an Audeze Mobius that has the earcups breaking at where the swivel meets the split to hold the cup. Being out of warranty, I designed this to act as a repair for the part. To disassemble the mobius to free the cable, I had to gently (took about 15 minutes of time) cut away the plastic that surrounds the cable. I used electrical tape to hold the cable that runs into the earpiece into the groove. This is not a perfect replacement but will get the Mobius back up and running. The piece can be mirrored for the other side. From everything I've seen, they are the same, just mirrored. If you enjoy the sound of the Mobius and have the flaw of it cracking, then hopefully this will get you working again. IMPORTANT Be slow, be very careful when working with the Mobius wire. It is a good quality wire, but don't pull too hard on it or cut/pry too close to it. Take your time. For this print, there is no need to cut the Mobius' wires. You will need to be careful to separate the wire from the original swivel though. Just take your time. I'm not great at Fusion 360 and still learning, but for me it's a functional part. Just started using it today, if it breaks or fails in some manner, I may add an update based on what I find that fails. When printed, it may see a little wider than the original, I found this made it easier to 'snap' into the ear cup and run the wire.
