UPDATE : Catch Can - concept added - not complete! Audi's have a few issues with oil consumption and Pcv valves, So I've been working on a much cheaper - printed system instead of those $600 PCV delete kits that are around. This is a work in progress and I'll be adding the parts as I finish them and test them. So far the plug and locking end cap work great and have 50% of the PCV system bypassed. I will soon have the 2nd part completed along with a modular oil catch can. UPDATE 2: Have added a new part to be placed between the rear PCV port to the turbo intake, this make the PCV completely disconnected from the engine (no more oil being sucked into the manifold or turbo intake - or coking valves and knocking octane points off your fuel) you will notice that smoke/steam will come from your PCV pipe now! this is no to be plumbed to an oil catchcan/filtration system. (this may not be legal in a lot of places) This piece can be either printed in ABS (as it will need some heat resistance) or cut out of G10 fiberglass Anyone that would like to contribute to this project is very welcome to chime in. UPDATE: have added the start of the catch can (warning - these are untested and not complete - print only for concept) Instructions print the plug in low to med res support will be required for the O ring grove (you may need to change orientation so it is printed on its end. (hole side up) fit 2 x 19mm O-rings (3mm thick) this fits into the plenum chamber hose fitting where the PCV hose connects onto the manifold. the endcap takes 2 x M3 bolts or screws to fit over the hose fitting holding the plug in place. by screwing the 2 M3 bolts in it will lock the cap to the pipe. It wont slip off as the barb of the pipe is larger then the screws locking it in place. I did fit a small piece of foam in the inner face of the endcap so it wa a snug fit to the back of the plug. Soon to come is the catch-can with all fittings (less the actual hose) this will include brackets to bolt it in the engine bay, hose barbs that will attach to the can itself. oil filter separator system and possibly a replacement PCV blocking plate.
