Audi C7 3.0T Alternator Cap

The alternator insulator where the main wire goes in on my car melted due to either a failed alternator or poor installation. I searched and tried to get one, but to no avail, and no one had anything in stock quick enough. You should probably use an off the shelf solution designed for the car, but I needed my car the next day so I designed and printed this. It goes over the lug and "snaps" on the alternator cable, then you will want to secure it with a zip tie. Slide a loosely closed zip tie on the wire before bolting it to the alternator. I didn't and that made it super hard to get on! This probably works for all 3.0ts but I can only confirm that it works on my 2014 A7.
