Decide to try to recreate this button box for 3D printing on my Ender 3 V2. As usually for me, it is probably over engineered with 5mm thickness for the box, but I wanted it to be sturdy enough to stand on it on even with the tilt. I included mounting holes at the bottom for an aluminium profile rig as that is how I intend to mount mine. Should work for 1.5inch (mine) and 40mm profiles. You'll need two sets M8 x 16mm bolts and nuts to hold top and bottom bodies together. I will be using an Arduino Pro Micro for this button box For the USB extension (https://www.amazon.com/CERRXIAN-Female-Extension-Charge-Screws/dp/B07G4XYJ5W/ref=sr_1_1?crid=2F3GPPPY4CTPL&keywords=cerrxian+micro+usb+male+to+usb+type+b+female&qid=1651881568&sprefix=cerrxian+micro+usb+male+to+usb+type+b+female%2Caps%2C94&sr=8-1), the screw that worked best was a #4-40 x 1/2 in screw (this is what I used https://www.homedepot.com/p/Everbilt-4-40-x-1-2-in-Phillips-Pan-Head-Machine-Screws-3-Pack-68598/202209913) To affix the faces to the bodies, I would suggest a #8 x 1/2 inch screw or M4 x 12mm. The holes on the faces are designed for any 12mm momentary push buttons and the CTS288V rotary encoders (because I had some laying around) Please excuse any fitment or tolerance issues. I'm not that great with 3D modeling.
