Audio Signal Power Switch Case

Audio Signal Power Switch Case

thingiverse

This dual extrusion case was designed to enclose an audio signal triggered 120VAC power switch circuit I designed to automatically power on/off hi-fi gear (monoblocks, preamp, etc.) when a line-level audio signal is detected. See http://lurp.org/projects/signal-switch for additional details... Instructions Dual extrusion printed in ABS on an MBI 2X @ 50% fill with 3 shells and a .20mm height using MakerWare / Skeinforge. Print works much better if the text filament (blue in the pictured example) prints second on the first layer. If anyone knows how to ensure that happens easily other than exporting and modifying the g-code, I'd love to know! Ommit Signal_Switch_Lid-pt2.stl if you don't have dualstrusion capability and the text will simply look recessed / engraved.
