Audio Technica ATH-M40x Hinge

Works the same as original. Allows folding, rotating (same angles as original), has internal channel for the cable. Seems to hold up ok. This is a replacement part for Audio Technica ATH-M40x headphones. I believe from around 2016, yours may differ. Mine already has a longer metal band in the hinge like here: https://imgur.com/a/BT9mG . If you like it, consider a small donation for a beer. I looked for that part very much, as my original piece broke. I fixed it, then it broke again in a different place. AFAIK a lot of people have the same issue and Audio Technica doesn't sell repair kits. Shame. The band as a mechanism that allows the specific driver to be rotated or folded. It's a bit flimsy, so it's very often that it breaks. I saw some replacement parts on Thingiverse, but they were of bad quality. When printed it turned out that the part can't be mounted without hacking the rest of the pieces. I decided to make a part that would retain the full functionality of the original. I also took care of the structural integrity by using thicker walls. One other thing that I wanted to provide was the channel to put the wire into, as in the original. It was designed in a way that there are no sharp corners, so the cable can be placed in the part easily. Right now I printed it in white, as this is how I print all my test parts, but I will print it in black after I finish testing. Currently it looks very promising.
