The Audyssey calibration microphone used for Marantz and Denon AV receivers/processors is designed to be mounted to a tripod. This adapter will allow the microphone to be mounted to a boom mic stand using a microphone clip. The base of the adapter is the same size as the UMIK-1 microphone, so it should be usable with that mount if you have that mic already. In addition to printing the part, you will also need to a 1 1/2 inch 1/4-2 bolt such as these: - https://www.homedepot.com/p/Everbilt-1-4-in-20-x-1-1-2-in-Phillips-Slotted-Round-Head-Machine-Screws-2-Pack-33261/202706441 - https://www.homedepot.com/p/Everbilt-1-4-in-20-x-1-1-2-in-Combo-Truss-Head-Stainless-Steel-Machine-Screw-25-Pack-802732/204274517 Instructions: 1. Print the part 2. Push the bolt through the bottom of the adapter (the round side) until it stops. A portion of the bolt threads should push through the mounting plate. 3. Thread the bolt into the bottom of the Audyssey microphone. There are 3 STL files. One is the adapter as one piece. the other 2 (post and base) allow you to print the post and base separately. The post just snaps into the base and is held in place when you screw the bolt into the microphone.
