This thing is pretty much as the title states. Many people replace the Vive Wireless adaptor battery for longer play time. The Aukey 30k mAh power bank with QC 3.0 is a compatible battery. I know it's no longer available. :( However, I imagine others use it for the same purpose and have ran into the issue of wear to put it on you with out the cable disconnecting. If you are a FBT user then a track strap belt is not good enough to hold it to you. You would need a regular leather or fabric belt to hold it. This case can hold the battery and your HTC Vive tracker. Additional items needed to make this thing: Sugru moldable glue Super Glue 5mm bolt for Vive tracker Heavy grit sand paper Painter mixing stick. 4ft long preferably thick USB A to USB A cable. Hand tools: Hammer and pliers. READ CAREFULLY !!! Instructions: 1. After print is complete the battery will not fit right away. You do want a snug fit. Most definatly do not want it to go flying out of the case while using it. Take a paint stir stick and super glue some sand paper to the stick and sand paper the inside of the case until you have a snug fit that is not too difficult to remove the batttery. 2. Some cables will fit thu the hole where the orange usb port lines up. Some won't. The one I used had thick rubber that was easy to trim with a hot knife. Fit the cable thru the hole and then plug it into the orange port of the power bank. Open 2 packets of Sugru and mix them together in your hands. After mixing them wrap half of the Sugru around the connector and wire. Make sure you really smear it on while avoiding getting any on the power bank. Carefully line up the power bank inside the case and push it all the way thru till you can see the power button line up with the hole.Take the other half of Sugru and smear it on the cable and case providing a strain relief on the cable. Let the Sugru Moldable glue cure for 24 hours. The next day hold the battery and gently tap on the case with a hammer where a belt would go. After a few taps the battery should come free leaving a small impression of the case on the glue in the inside of the case. 3. Find a 5mm bolt. Should be the same bolt that is used on camera tripods. Test fit before hand. Once its in you are not going to get it out again. Using pliers and a blow torch or a lighter heat up the hex nut end of the bolt till its nearly red hot. Slide the nut into the T slot of the battery bank and allow to cool. A little bit of water can help to cool it down faster. 4. Test. Grab a regular belt and slid it thru. Plug in the other end of the USB A cable to the Vive wireless. You know its working when the red light on the left side of your vive next to the menu button comes on. Make sure you press the Power button of the power bank before sliding it into the case. 5. (: Happy gaming friend.
