AUM design Umbra soap pump

This project is a combination of elegant design, ergonomics and usability. The design is composed by a triangular trasparent support designed to emphasize the lettre U and M of Umbra. The cap has been designed to allow the utente to press it by the use of only one hand, in this way it’s possible also for people with some disability, like lack of an hand or an arm, to use this device. The bottom of the bottle has a truncated conical shape, this in order to reduce the soap residues on the bottom. The opening has been realized on the side of the bottle to improve the phase of soap charging, in fact this permits to the soap residue on the tube to pour down on the back of the cap. The shape of the cap is flat on the top, this permits to put the cap upside down on the support plan, avoiding the intake tube dirtying the support plan. The cap is moving on two lateral guides made on the bottle, this ensure robustness and the possibility to close the cap of the pump. The volume capacity requirement has been respected and the Solid Work files have been provided of scale factors to set pump the desidered dimension.
