The ubiquitous Leman Russ Battle Tank is among the most common armored vehicles of the Astra Militarum, but there are other more arcane tanks contained in the STC drives. One such example is the Aurochs Battle Tank. Rediscovered by the Tech Magos of Fecundia, the Aurochs is produced in limited numbers. Mounting the formidable Battle Cannon and thick armor plating, the Aurochs is perfectly capable of performing any battlefield role the Leman Russ is known for, even if it is somewhat bulkier and less technologically advanced. Fecundian tech priests continue to research the design for upgrades. The Aurochs is rarely seen, however, because it is only delivered to units equipped by Forge World Fecundia. The Aurochs counts as a Leman Russ in games of Warhammer 40K
