Automated Homebridge Curtains

Automated Homebridge Curtains

I wanted to create automated curtains for my home theater and connect them to HomeKit but was unable to find anything that would work for my system. I decided to design my own and this is what I came up with. I am able to open and close my curtains using Siri or any HomeKit automations utilizing homebridge. My set up uses the following: - 2 stepper motors - 2 A4988 Motor Drivers - NodeMCU controller (ESP8266) - 12V 2A power supply - 2020 T-Slot aluminum - GT2 Timing Belt - 2 Backplate Pulley for Ender3 - 5V USB DC converter - USB cable - Electrical Encasing - Solid State Relay Module - Male end plug - 14 gauge wire - Dupont wire - Curtains - Printed Mounts and Connectors
