AVAs Gear Toy 10

thingiverse

To AVA, from Uncle Les. AVA's Gear Toys 1, 2, 2b and 4 have been warmly welcomed by the Thingiverse community so I thought it would be fun to create a robotic version of the classic planetary gear set. The files are printed and tested working. It's purpose is to serve as a rotating base for learning and for simple robots. For example, as it is provided it can be a "MaracaBot" that makes sounds when spun back and forth in rhythmic fashion. Next I plan to make a feeder robot for helping disabled people. Print "gear_planet.stl" four times; one for each bearing. Then print all other stl files only once. Assembly is straightforward. ***** Note: The files have been updated as of today (Wed Mar 28 2018. The arm is still under development. *****
