This model is inspired by the babyphone mount by Bosal:

A solution to mount the babyphone of a friend at bed.

I created the part from scratch to add the following features:

The edge of the bed is 20.5mm wide: easy…

Screwing the M6 without a tool: Use an M6x30 screw with a knob from “Nut Knob Generator” bei wstein. I made several different types, when I created a special M6 knob for a music stand. The .stl file there is too big for this mount, but you can create a knob for your self easily!

Making the part easier to print: To make the upper part easier to print, I removed the mushroom-like pins. The must be glued in but you can print the upper part flat on the printer.

The mount itself can be printed upright with a brim, as shown in the picture.

…

After testing at the friends place here are some suggestions for further remixes. But the current design is already good enough, so I let it be.

There is a 0.3 mm gap between the glued pins and the stand of the baby phone. Add some e.g. foam to the base to give it a nice squeeze and solid connection.

The angle of the plate is actually limited between looking straight down and 45degree down. Moving the pivot point up to the edge of the mount would allow any angle, including standing upright.
